Czhang Lin, board member of Web3 venture fund LBank Labs, says universities play an “important” role in developing the next generation of Web3 talent, and the academy needs to understand this to guide students to the right perspective.
On August 2, the venture capital firm announced the winners of its Summer Boot Camp competition for college students. Various participants from different academic institutions entered the competition, winning a trip to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, and mentoring opportunities from crypto funds.

Lin stressed the importance of universities for the future of Web3 in a statement to Cointelegraph. While the markets are showing signs of a bearish trend, Lin believes the time to develop and invest is still rightrepeating:
